Sonify Wins August 2026 FLASH Pitch Competition

FLASH is proud to announce Sonify as the winner of the August 2026 Pitch Competition. Sonify is developing AI-enabled, surface-mounted noise mitigation technology for apartments, hotels, and homes. Its system detects intrusive sound, identifies where it is entering a space, and adapts in real time to reduce disturbances without requiring major renovations or traditional soundproofing.

Sonify is led by Samad Tagoe, CEO, a Harvard Business School graduate and former ExxonMobil engineer, and Mandeep Patel, CTO, a University of Texas at Austin mechanical engineering graduate and former Lockheed Martin component qualification engineer. Together, the team is working toward a simple mission: making quiet more accessible in the places people live, work, and sleep.
